A temple for bees

An amazing log hive (90ltr volume) made by biodynamic farmer Brock at the Frome Natural Beekeeping Group  "Bees & Trees" course. He even included his own Tamga, Bashkir style!

The 2.5m high base is made from plough stones, bottles, logs, dirt and broken tiles from around the farm. Bees do best when they live high above the ground.

Every apiary needs at least one temple -  How will the bees be able to resist filling this hive!

Brock will be skep making and talking about bees in Dartington, Devon on May 10th 2014.
