I aim to take a bee centred view to beekeeping.

I support a peer group of bee centred beekeepers in Somerset (UK) and often give talks and training on bees and Tree Beekeeping. I am a trustee of the Natural Beekeeping Trust and a board member of the Tree Beekeeping International.

I first started beekeeping as a child in the 70's, taught by my grandfather who kept bees from the 1930's until 1986. I seek to respect the nature of the bee, learning from how wild bees prefer live to inform my beekeeping.

Bees ask questions about how we live in this world. If all you see is honey when you think of bees, then you may be missing the most important thing about them.
